Shanti - A Journey of Peace was performed to a packed audiences at Baker Hall, Zoellner Arts Center, Lehigh University, Bethlehem PA on May 20, 2006.

The magic of Shanti was re-created in this performance, as the music score of Shanti came alive with a 100 member choir and a 25 member orchestra. The Shanti experience has been with the community for the past one and half years, through music workshops  conducted by Kanniks Kannikeswaran at Lehigh.

As with the prior performances at Cincinnati, the music was accompaned by dances from several parts of India and powerful imagery.

About 80 singers of Indian origin, from the Lehigh valley constitued the core of the cast of this production. Accompanying them were guest singers of the Martin Luther King Coalition Choir who drove all the way from Cincinnati to sing with them. Also accompanying them were a chamber orchestra and an ensemble of Indian instruments and dancers from the Lehigh valley area and surrounding areas.
